Welcome from Paul Bryant, the new pastor of One in Christ Church of Cottonwood, Arizona.
I desire to come along side a body of believers for the purpose of growing together in spiritual health and vitality. I am passionate about shepherding people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by accepting, loving and training them with Bible-based truth. My ministry values include wanting what God wants. It is to love God and to love people.
Rich blessings come from joyfully serving the Lord. It is my aim to encourage each person to discover his or her spiritual gifts and use them for the building up of the Body for His glory.
This is a very friendly church. There is a place for you at One in Christ Church. Irregardless of your background, your age or your economic level, you will find this is a place to grow, to love and be loved, and to serve.
I was born December 14, 1952 in Long Beach, California. After having enjoyed a retail career of selling ladies’ shoes, I was led by God to make a significant change in direction, and become a pastor. At the age of 48, I went back to school to earn a Master of Divinity degree. My wife Katie and I have spent the last 23 ½ years in Phoenix, Arizona.
Before coming to Cottonwood, I served as an Associate Pastor with the First Baptist Church of Tempe, AZ. I officially became the pastor of One in Christ Church on July 15, 2007. We moved from Phoenix to Clarkdale, AZ on August 24, 2007. What an absolutely beautiful area! It is truly a delight to be here.
Katie and I were married November 21, 1978. Katie is the only one in her family to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. She graduated from Long Beach Community College in California with an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology. She has been a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for over 20 years. In her spare time, Katie enjoys stamping, card-making, crafts and decorating.
Our mutual interests include hiking, reading and playing “Guts” with friends. We have a Chocolate Labrador named Hershey.
